What is TYPO3?

TYPO3 is an open source content management system or framework that can be used to create and manage even complex websites. This free CMS also offers inexperienced webmasters a good opportunity to create and optimise a website. There are currently well over 5,000 extensions for TYPO3 users on the market. Many of these TYPO3 extensions can be used without any programming knowledge. Extensions are elements that can be integrated on a modular basis, such as shop systems, image galleries, languages, WYSIWYG editors and many more.
