The experienced advertiser comes from the Munich agency ZIEL and expands the management team around founder and Managing Director Tobias Schalkhaußer

Munich, 2 May 2020. schalk&friends, the Munich-based digital agency, is adding an experienced manager to its team: Matthias Bierich, 52, will take over as Managing Director for the consulting division, primarily responsible for client support and development as well as business development, online marketing and employer branding. Previously, the business economist was Managing Partner at Ziel for many years, where he was responsible for the agency’s digital development, strategy, conceptualisation and consulting for B2C and B2B clients such as BSH Hausgeräte, Hurtigruten and Costa Cruises. Bierich has also been honoured for his work, for example with the Business to Business Award (BoB). Previous positions have taken the native Bavarian to Serviceplan and Wächter&Wächter, among others – Bierich has also worked on the client side as a product and marketing manager.

With the appointment of Matthias Bierich, schalk&friends is expanding its management team, which consists of founder and Managing Director Schalkhaußer, Technology Managing Director Sven Maier and Managing Director Rolf Lange, who is responsible for account management, creation and strategy. The agency thus covers the entire spectrum of a holistic and integrated provider of digital services and technologies.
