Dear customers and friends, they are huge. And teeny tiny. They are light as a feather, compact – and sometimes very heavy and bulky. Some are chosen carefully, others are snapped up at the last minute. But all good gifts have one thing in common: they bring joy.

And because joy is the only thing that doubles when you share it, we are foregoing traditional Christmas mailings this year. Instead, we are donating to the Initiative krebskranke Kinder München e.V., an organisation in the immediate vicinity that is very close to our hearts. In this way, we share our joy in several ways: with the affected children and their families, with the dedicated helpers, teachers and carers on site – and with you.

A donation that arrives

The Initiative krebskranke Kinder München e.V. offers its help where it is needed most: in the families. Where our donation goes can therefore be tracked very specifically. Here is a brief overview of the many meaningful, empathetic and well thought-out measures taken by the initiative:

  • Emergency financial aid
    for affected families in need
  • Parents’ flats close to the clinic
  • Funding of staff
such as educators, teachers and psychologists for the paediatric cancer ward to ensure the highest possible level of care
  • Art therapy
    stationary and mobile
  • Music therapy
  • Sports therapy
  • Nutritional counselling
  • Discussions, exchange of experiences and counselling
    for affected families
  • Financial resources for time out
for families to recharge their batteries: holidays, home help, sibling care
  • Upgrading the equipment
on the children’s cancer ward (furnishings, kitchen, games, films, etc.)
  • Joint activities
for children and parents that offer fixed rituals and increase well-being on the cancer ward (e.g. cooking together, celebrating birthdays)
  • Information events
    on all relevant topics
  • Supervision and further training
    for psychosocial staff
  • Grants for paediatric cancer research

Merry Christmas

We wish you and your loved ones a wonderful festive season and happy holidays!

The demands placed on e-commerce are constantly increasing - not only in high-turnover B2C sectors, but also increasingly in B2B. If processes are not automated, operational limits are quickly reached when order volumes or product diversity increase. Companies of the Mittelstand in particular are realising this: Growth cannot (only) be achieved with more staff. More efficient processes, better systems and digital interfaces are also essential.

Many companies continue to use established e-commerce systems such as Magento, Oxid or Shopware 5, which have usually grown historically and are often highly customised - and this is becoming more and more of a problem. Every customised solution increases complexity and maintenance costs, and every intervention reduces adaptability.

Everyone is talking about artificial intelligence! But only a few are really using it efficiently - and even fewer understand the potential it already harbours, especially for medium-sized companies. This is exactly where we come in: Our AI hackthons create a space where you can get stuck in, experiment, learn - and end up with tangible results.
