The challenge

München Ticket prides itself on its in-depth knowledge of the local events scene—and aims to recommend exactly the events that are right for its customers. But the previous newsletter tool had its limitations: valuable first-party data—such as which events customers attend and which genres they prefer—could not be systematically utilized.

Without AI-powered personalization, communication remained too general: rock fans received classical music recommendations, and families were suggested club events.
