HASIT Trockenmörtel GmbH produces and supplies building materials. However, the trade in these materials is still very traditional. Especially when it comes to time-critical replenishment on the construction site. Incomplete order slips, scribbled notes, hectic phone calls from field staff while driving from one customer to another. Extremely time-consuming and highly prone to errors. There’s a better way.

Goal

Faster and more reliable incoming orders without transmission errors. Strengthening customer loyalty through better and more flexible order management (24/7 service). More time for the sales force to provide perfect personal advice and thus live up to HASIT’s claim of being a solution provider with a strong advisory service.

Order

Finds out what really helps end customers and the sales force. Designed and programmed a digital store for our entire product range. So intelligent that even the most complicated product combinations and delivery routes can be mapped. And at the same time so simple that ordering from the scaffolding works.

Solution

iPhone instead of trowel: A store that meets the specific requirements of the building materials trade. Optimized for use on mobile devices directly from the construction site. Even in dead spots, of course: Thanks to an offline mode that automatically synchronizes the data the next time you contact the server.

Success

From briefing to industry pioneer in just six months: The Hasit ordering service met the needs of customers so perfectly that 1/3 of orders were mapped online after only a short time. Like the buildings on the construction sites, acceptance among the target group continues to grow. The office staff are delighted with the new quality of the order data. And the sales representatives are pleased that they can now concentrate fully on providing advice. Without any errors.
