The Bavarian State Opera is known for its attention to detail - which is now also reflected in its digital presence.

Bureau Borsche presents: The internationally award-winning agency, known above all for its innovative print concepts, has developed the State Opera’s new corporate design. Its aesthetics are now to be brought to life in a functional, high-performance and convincing user experience. In technical terms, too, the aim is to do justice to a wide range of data, different user needs and extensive design.

Multimedia content, versatile design: the website has to meet high technical requirements and should be intuitive to use. Interested parties, opera fans and journalists will find, among other things, performance schedules, inspiration for their next visit to the opera – or the digital collection of 500 contributions to the 500th anniversary of the Bavarian State Orchestra. The timing: Accelerando! The faster, the better. The goal: crescendo! The more intuitive, the more effective.

Exclusive design, inclusive approach: In line with #operfueralle, the Bavarian State Opera’s website should also become an interactive experience for art and culture enthusiasts. To achieve this, it must reflect the various information needs, backgrounds and interests of the target groups. In addition, stringency and clarity are required, especially for the performance pages – for an effortless user journey that impresses with every click

The Bayerische Staatsoper, Bayerisches Staatsballett and Bayerisches Staatsorchester are clearly organized in the easy-to-navigate menu. A well thought-out schedule feature makes it easy for users to find events (future and past). The division of the performance pages is coherent and offers additional features such as recommendations, an article module and a media module. In addition, effective, target group-oriented UX optimizations were made to the structure and interactions
