What you can expect

You will join our IT team, which currently consists of two members. In this role, you will work closely with all departments at our agency (e.g., Development, Account Management, Strategy, and Management) to support our diverse portfolio of B2B and B2C clients.

Your tasks

  • You will serve as a sparring and implementation partner for our development team in designing sustainable system solutions (caching, performance, security, etc.), optimizing processes, and integrating new technologies
  • You implement infrastructure components and processes using various technologies (LAMP stack, serverless functions, Node.js, GitOps, IaC, etc.)
  • You monitor and optimize system performance and ensure the high availability and scalability of web applications
  • You manage, monitor, and configure cloud infrastructures
  • You ensure system security and the implementation of best practices for security and compliance
  • You will take on on-call duties as agreed to ensure 24/7 premium service
  • You perform error analysis and resolve production issues
  • You will independently develop your skills and share your knowledge with your colleagues

Your profile

  • A degree in computer science, information technology, or a comparable field of study; however, we also welcome experienced candidates from other fields
  • Several years of experience in system administration of Linux and/or Unix-like systems
  • Several years of experience with web technologies and hosting
  • Knowledge of managing modern cloud infrastructures
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools is a plus
  • Knowledge of (scripting) languages such as Python, Go, or Bash is a plus
  • Experience in monitoring and troubleshooting production systems
  • High standards of quality, reliability, and a structured, independent work style
  • Strong agile mindset and ability to work in a team
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
  • Passion for your craft
  • A thirst for knowledge and a commitment to actively developing your expertise
