The challenge

What is the first thing that comes to mind when you think of industrial infant formula? Certainly not only good associations – wrongly so. This was also reflected in the top search engine results in 2016. Only outdated articles from eight to ten years ago, in which non-experts give their opinion on industrially produced infant formula, could be found here.

Goal

Educate young parents with well-researched, technically sound, everyday and relevant content. Replace outdated and long-outdated articles and posts with fresh, correct content on the first search results pages in order to provide up-to-date and contemporary information. Addressing the target group with value-added information on the most frequently used channels.

Creation of a concept for an online campaign on the topic of “proper infant nutrition in the second year of life” in order to generate a high reach in the target group. Broad and brand-independent positive reporting on the topic of proper infant nutrition in the second year of life through industrial infant nutrition.

Solution

We were convinced from the outset that a portal offering relevant, professional and up-to-date information and disseminating it via suitable channels was the ideal strategy to fulfill the goals and wishes of the DIÄTVERBAND e.V..

Success

In the first half of 2021, we can now look back on five years of successful collaboration with DIÄTVERBAND e.V. The idea and its implementation are proving to be a successful concept that will remain in place for several years to come. Of course, we did not simply stick to the original concept of the infant nutrition campaign – a high degree of flexibility, observation of current trends and updates as well as the constant further development of the basic idea, messages and expansion of the channels are important.
