schalk&friends expands its management team and brings Alex Reinhold, an experienced programming expert, onto the board. Why change is the only constant in his career – and which software he will rely on in the future.

Brand new as Managing Director Development, but already an “old hand” as a member of schalk&friends: computer scientist Alex Reinhold was a member of the management team until recently. In this position, he paved the way for new technologies and innovative tools – a focus that he also wants to further expand in the management. He brings with him many years of experience in a wide range of development topics: Whether it’s coding, software architecture, digital transformation or high-impact updates, Alex ensures that our customers’ digital landscape is perfectly aligned with their marketing goals, budgets and visions.

Welcome, change!
It’s important to never stop – because the IT industry in particular is constantly changing. As part of an internal agency upgrade, he was therefore largely responsible for modernising not only the team structure but also the schalk&friends product portfolio. In addition to customer-orientated, agile working methods, we also offer state-of-the-art systems and tools that are future-proof in the long term.

Communicate better, act more effectively
Admittedly, it is not easy to maintain an overview in such a rapidly changing industry. That’s why Alex is particularly keen to communicate the challenges and potential of IT as clearly as possible. Because: “An understandable language is the basis for any good collaboration.”
This is how he “translates” between the professionals on the development and customer side. He is often confronted with the question of which software offers a sustainable, secure basis for medium and long-term corporate planning. And he has a clear answer: “Our own.”
Because every industry, every company and every business model works very differently, the most efficient IT is always the one that is holistically tailored to the existing circumstances and requirements. In this sense, holistic also means that not only the digital infrastructure, but also the company’s own team, internal and external communication and the type of sales are included in all important considerations.

Welcome, Alex!
Despite all the technical and personnel responsibilities that Alex will be looking after even more intensively in the future, there is one big vision that he will not lose sight of. The vision that schalk&friends stands for in its entirety: We develop effective marketing digitalisation for SMEs. To strengthen Germany as a business location, to secure jobs, to bring the companies we work for to the top. Welcome to the management team, Alex – it’s great to see you at the forefront of this mission!

Many companies start their digital marketing with a single tool - be it a content management system for the website or a CRM for managing customer data. And that's perfectly fine.
