What you can expect

You will play a key role at the interface between technical leadership, hands-on engineering and strategic customer consulting. You will work closely with our customer teams, consisting of account management and development, to design technically excellent and commercially viable solutions for our customers

Your tasks

Architecture & Engineering

• You design robust, scalable and secure software solutions - and are involved in the implementation of critical components yourself
• You are responsible for technical architecture decisions across the entire stack: backend, frontend, cloud, integrations
• You carry out code reviews and set technical standards for your projects
• You identify technological improvement potential in existing systems and drive their implementation forward

• You are responsible for the tech roadmap of strategic customers - from system selection to architecture planning and implementation
• You advise customers on complex technical issues and carry out system selections and evaluations
• You support with cost estimates, proposal preparation and capacity planning

• You monitor tech trends, pilot new technologies and bring them into the organization
• You design and conduct internal and external workshops and training sessions
• As the technical face of the agency, you contribute to external visibility (presentations, specialist articles, meetups)

Your profile

• Degree in computer science or comparable qualification
• At least 7 years of experience in software development, including at least 2 years in a consulting role
• Broad technical knowledge: Backend (PHP, Symfony/Laravel, Node.js), frontend (Vue.js/React, Nuxt.js/Next.js), cloud platforms, API integrations
• Experience with CMS platforms such as Pimcore, WordPress or Kirby - ideally headless setups as well as eCommerce systems such as Shopify
• Ability to present complex technical concepts in an understandable way for technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong evaluation skills for technology stacks
• Experience in mentoring developers
• Pragmatic, solution-oriented approach
• Persuasiveness in technical discussions - Leadership through professional charisma
• German (min. C1), English (B2+)
