What you can expect

You’ll be part of one of our three client teams, which currently consists of 33 employees. In this role, you’ll work closely with all of our agency’s departments (Strategy, Online Marketing, Creative, and Account Management) to support our diverse portfolio of B2B and B2C clients.

Your tasks

• You’ll develop new or existing WordPress projects, from configuration and theme customization to plugin development
• You’ll design WordPress solutions using modern best practices (ACF, REST API, headless approaches)
• You’ll enhance our agency standards and tech stacks related to WordPress, as well as our workflows
• You’ll integrate WordPress with third-party systems, CRMs, and marketing tools via APIs and plugin development
• You’ll optimize the performance, security, and technical SEO of WordPress installations
• You’ll serve as a mentor to colleagues on WordPress-specific challenges and maintain best-practice documentation
• You’ll continuously improve our WordPress digital products, which are used daily by thousands of international users
• You’re eager to engage in professional exchange and pursue continuous professional development within the WordPress ecosystem

Your profile

• Degree in computer science/multimedia or comparable training, but we also welcome experienced candidates changing careers
• At least 7 years of verifiable experience in WordPress development (theme and plugin development)
• In-depth knowledge of PHP (OOP, design patterns, PHP 7.4+)
• Proficiency with WordPress architecture: hooks, filters, custom post types, taxonomies, metaboxes
• Experience with modern front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/ES6+, and, if applicable, Vue.js or React in a WordPress context)
• Experience with other PHP-based CMS solutions (Typo3, Pimcore, Kirby, etc.) is a plus
• Proficient use of Git and understanding of Git workflows
• REST API development and headless WordPress solutions
• WordPress security: authentication, authorization, data protection (GDPR)
• Performance optimization: caching, database queries, asset handling, site speed, and Web Vitals
• Experience with popular WordPress plugins (Elementor, Wordfence, etc.) or page builders
• High standards for quality and a structured, independent work style
